Polibatam and Singapore Polytechnic to Host Technology Symposium 2026 on Sustainable Technology Transformation
BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam), in collaboration with Singapore Polytechnic, will host Technology Symposium 2026 on Wednesday, 29 July 2026. The event is part of Singapore Polytechnic’s Regional Industry Networking Conference (RINC) and aims to strengthen international collaboration while accelerating global innovation and industrial sustainability.
Technology Symposium 2026 will serve as a knowledge-sharing platform for students, academics, industry professionals, and technology enthusiasts seeking to explore emerging technologies that are expected to shape the future of industry. The symposium is also expected to create opportunities for cross-border collaboration among higher education institutions, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
The symposium will feature four international speakers who will share their expertise on a range of strategic topics. The first session, Digitalisation and Sustainability, will explore how digital transformation can accelerate the transition towards a greener and more sustainable industrial future, with insights from Siemens.
Another session will focus on Embodied Artificial Intelligence, an emerging field that integrates artificial intelligence with physical systems and real-world environments. The discussion will provide participants with a deeper understanding of the next major advancement in AI and its potential applications across various sectors.
Participants will also gain insights into Robotics and Evolutionary AI, which examines the integration of robotics and intelligent technologies in developing more adaptive, efficient, and environmentally responsible ecosystems. Meanwhile, the Sustainable Manufacturing session will highlight best practices and innovative approaches to sustainable manufacturing across the ASEAN region.
The event will be held virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, 29 July 2026, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB), or 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Singapore Standard Time (SGT).
