Jasa Raharja Kepri and Polibatam Form Safety Rangers, Create Traffic Safety Agents

POLIBATAM-Politeknik Negeri Batam is a partner of Jasa Raharja Riau Islands (Kepri) in forming Safety Rangers as traffic safety agents among students. This event was symbolically held on Thursday, 21 September 2023, at the Polibatam Main Building.

Present at this activity was the Head of PT Jasa Raharja Riau Islands Branch, Mulyadi, who was accompanied by the Head of the Finance, Accounting and TJSL units, Heidy Mahardiani Gandi, together with Ahmad Riyad Firdaus as Deputy Director 1 for Academic Affairs of Politeknik Negeri Batam. “This Safety Rangers will later become an agent who can educate students on the Polibatam campus regarding traffic safety, and we will also involve them in outreach from Jasa Raharja,” said Mulyadi.

In this activity, students appointed as Safety Rangers representatives will voice traffic safety to Politeknik Negeri Batam students. These Safety Rangers members will also participate in socialization undertaken by the Jasa Raharja Riau Islands Branch in the future. In addition, Jasa Raharja Riau Islands also handed over 1 unit of traffic safety loudspeakers to the Politeknik Negeri Batam to increase students’ awareness of the importance of traffic safety when driving.

Hopefully, the existence of Safety Rangers among students will increasingly be heard by fellow students regarding traffic safety campaigns on the highway. Finally, the number of accidents can be reduced.
