Improving Public Services, Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Held Lapor Goes To Campus Event at Polibatam

POLIBATAM-Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) hosted the Lapor Goes To Campus event held by the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenPANRB) in collaboration with the Riau Islands Provincial Government, Batam City Government, BP Batam, on Wednesday, 6 December 2023, in the main building auditorium of the Polibatam campus.

Present at this event was HM. Rudi, SE., MM., as Mayor and the head of BP Batam; Dr. Drs. Muhammad Imanuddin S.H., M.Si., as Main Policy Analyst of KemenPANRB; Drs. Yanuar Ahmad, MPA., as Assistant Deputy for Digital Transformation of Public Services at KemenPANRB; Insan Fahmi, S.T., M.M., as Assistant Deputy for Community Participation Empowerment at KemenPANRB; Ariastuty Sirait, MM., as the Head of the Promotion and Protocol Public Relations Bureau, Endry Abzan as the Head of the Center for Harmonization of Policy and Management Performance, Stefani Barlian as the Head of Leadership Strategy Support Section, Rudi Panjaitan, S.STP, M.Si., as the Head of the Batam City Communication and Information Service, Dr. Lagat Parroha Patar Siadari, S.E, M.H., as the Head of Representative of the Indonesian Ombudsman for Riau Islands Province, Rahmi, SE, M.Si., as the Head of General Division of LLDIKTI Region from various campuses in Batam.

This event is expected to be a socialization event regarding the SP4N Lapor application, which the public can use to convey input, criticism, and suggestions regarding public services for government agencies and public bodies on the Polibatam campus.

“In the future, the SP4N Lapor application can be used more effectively by users or the public in conveying their complaints or aspirations about public services in government. “Hopefully, the students who attended this event can actively participate in all these events and can continue to use SP4N to realize good-quality public services,” said Insan Fahmi, Assistant Deputy for Community Participation Empowerment.

“Welcome to the Polibatam campus. Alhamdulillah this year it is the host of the Lapor Goes to Campus event initiated by the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform. Fellow students in the city of Batam and surrounding areas are participants in this event. It’s easy for students to play an active role in using SP4N Lapor in conveying suggestions, input, and criticism in public institution services,” said Bambang Hendrawan, Deputy Director 2 of Polibatam.

The Mayor and Chairman of BP Batam gave a speech and officially opened the Lapor Goes to Campus event at Polibatam. “Hopefully this event can make public services in the city of Batam better, so that in the future Batam will become developed and can catch up with other countries. Fellow students will become the next generation of the future.” “SP4N Report can be a tool to control government performance,” explained Rudi, the Mayor of Batam City.

In the entertainment session, creative Malay dance by Kuas Polibatam was also shown. The public lecture and seminar were delivered by the Assistant Deputy for Digital Transformation of Public Services of the KemenPANRB, Insan Fahmi, S.T., M.M., and moderated by Rudi Panjaitan, S.STP, M.Si., as the Head of the Batam City Communication and Information Service.

At this event, participants could also see various exhibitions of PBL Polibatam products, stands from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, and various other agency representatives.
