AUS4ASEAN Short Course Programme

KEMENDIKBUDRISTEK-We kindly inform you that the Regional Cooperation for the Development of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (RECOTVET) provides information that the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade under the Aus4ASEAN Digital Transformation and Future Skills project is holding a short course program for two (2) weeks at Australia.

This course is for ASEAN nationals working in the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and skills development. The 2 (two) short course programs offered are:
a. Skills Forecasting for the Fourth Industrial Revolution
Participants will gain knowledge regarding the gap between demand and supply of skills, explore ways to strengthen the labor market, explore ways to increase the capacity of governments, educational institutions and other stakeholders, as well as matters regarding the ability to predict 4IR and other emerging trends in the ASEAN region.

b. Improving the Digital Readiness and Resilience of TVET Systems in ASEAN
Participants will gain knowledge related to reflecting on the challenges of TVET institutions in dealing with online learning during the pandemic, understanding the most appropriate mechanism to improve TVET teacher skills in learning, as well as matters regarding increasing digital readiness and resilience in the TVET system against disruptions through the establishment of alternative models and Flexibility to use new technology.

Requirements that should be met by nominees include:
a. have at least four years of work experience in government/TVET training;
b. send a curriculum vitae explaining the current duties and responsibilities;
c. have a good command of English;
d. send a letter of permission from superiors;
e. have a commitment to be actively involved in training; and
f. wish to disseminate the benefits of learning gained in the training.

In this regard, we ask that you participate or forward this information to organizational units and individuals who have the potential to be able to send their nominations and requirements before January 11, 2023.
