Visit of Kolej Komuniti Bukit Beruang Melaka Encourages International Collaboration with Polibatam

BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) welcomed a visit from Kolej Komuniti Bukit Beruang Melaka (KKBB), Malaysia, aimed at introducing various projects and programs developed by KKBB to Polibatam students. This activity was part of an effort to open opportunities for academic collaboration and project-based learning initiatives between students of both institutions.

During the visit, presentation and discussion sessions were conducted to showcase KKBB’s flagship programs and student projects, serving as a platform to share best practices in vocational education development. Polibatam students participated enthusiastically, gaining broader insights and an expanded international perspective.

In his remarks, the Head of Public Relations and Cooperation Working Group of Polibatam, Ridwan Purwanto, expressed hope that this activity would mark the beginning of concrete collaboration between Polibatam and KKBB students. Such collaboration may include joint projects, exchange of ideas, and competency development initiatives based on Project-Based Learning (PBL).

Moving forward, Polibatam hopes that this partnership will continue to grow and contribute positively to enhancing the quality of vocational education, while also strengthening educational ties between Indonesia and Malaysia.
