The 2nd Batch Polibatam Engineer Professional Study Program Holds its First Lecture
POLIBATAM-After inaugurating 55 Engineers in early March, the Batam State Polytechnic (Polibatam) again held the first lecture of the 2nd batch of Engineer Professional Study Program/Program Studi Program Profesi Insinyur (PSPPI) which was held at the Technopreneur Center Building, Theater Room, 3rd Floor, on the evening of Wednesday, 15 March 2023.
The event started with remarks from the Director of Polibatam, Uuf Brajawidagda, then entered the general lecture with the theme of career paths for professional engineers by Ir. Prastiwo Anggoro who is the Chair of the Batam City Indonesian Engineers Association, and Public Lecture on the Batam City development masterplan by the Mayor of Batam who on this occasion was represented by Wan Darussalam as the Deputy IV of the Batam Business Entity (BP).
“Of course, Batam City itself will still need a lot of development and infrastructure development. For this reason, Batam City still needs engineers. We are waiting for your contributions from Engineer students,” said Wan Darussalam.
Hopefully, with the presence of the Engineer profession program at the Polibatam campus, competent engineers will be born in development and construction in Batam City and the Riau Islands Province.
