Politeknik Negeri Batam Obtains Software Engineering Technology Study Program Permit
NEWS – Head of LLDIKTI Region X, Prof. Dr. Herri, MBA., handed over a copy of the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology concerning Permits for Opening of the Software Engineering Technology Study Program for the undergraduate program to the Director of Politeknik Negeri Batam, Uuf Brajawidagda, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., online, on Monday (7/3/2022).
“Congratulations on the performance of the Director of Politeknik Negeri Batam and all team members who have worked together to prepare a place to gain knowledge for the community, especially in Batam,” said Prof. Harry.
Prof. Herri said that the government paid attention and policies to support quality vocational education in Indonesia, including the establishment of various new study programs. “Hopefully all existing study programs can be implemented properly so that the development of human resources, especially in the vocational field, will be faster. Hopefully, more study programs at Politeknik Negeri Batam will get A accreditation and become an educational center. Batam is an area bordering friendly countries, the existence of superior human resources is very important. Don’t lose out on the competition,” said Prof. Harry.
On that occasion, the Director of Politeknik Negeri Batam, Uuf Brajawidagda, Ph.D., said that with the receipt of this decree, the number of study programs at this college became 19. “This is the 19th study program at the Politeknik Negeri Batam. Of the 19 existing study programs, three of them already have A accreditation. In addition, the presence of this study program is expected to support the formation of digital government, “said the Director.
