Polibatam Won 6 Medals at the National Student Sports Invitation Event 2023 in Jakarta
POLIBATAM-Politeknik Negeri Batam athletes gained achievements by bringing home 6 medals from the Kempo and athletics branches at the 2023 National Student Sports Invitation. The National Student Sports Invitation 2023 is a national-level sports event held every two years. It is part of history and the involvement of the nation’s children in building the world in their homeland.
The National Student Sports Invitation has a role in developing and searching for superior seeds, especially those from universities in the national student sports invitation. This activity was carried out by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Youth and Sports Department starting from September 24 to October 1, 2023. Polibatam delegated 5 of its best athletes and was accompanied by 2 Officials, Ridho Tanso Rikalmi and Andre Agus S. Sitepu, to participate in this activity. Thank God, Polibatam athletes managed to win 6 medals with the following details:
1. The gold medal for the men’s Kempo Randori sport in the 50 KG class on behalf of Rendy Vandryan from the Animation Study Program.
2. Silver medal in the men’s Kempo Randori 60 KG class on behalf of Muhandis Yahya Ayas from the Managerial Accounting Study Program.
3. Silver medal in Men’s 100 M Athletics on behalf of Floribertus Rio Ferdinand from the Shipping Construction Engineering Technology Study Program.
4. Bronze Medal in the Kempo Embu Mixed Pair Kyu I/II Sports Branch on behalf of Vyna Amanda from the Accounting Study Program.
5. Bronze Medal in the Kempo Embu Mixed Pair Kyu I/II Sports Branch on behalf of Rendy Vandryan from the Animation Study Program.
6. Bronze Medal in Kempo Embu Tandoku I/II-DAN Sports Branch on behalf of Muhandis Yahya Ayas from the Managerial Accounting Study.
