BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) urges all applicants and prospective new students to remain cautious against any form of fraud carried out by parties claiming to represent Polibatam’s leadership, new student admission committee, lecturers, staff, or individuals who claim to have close connections with Polibatam’s internal personnel.

This warning is issued in response to the potential presence of irresponsible individuals who promise or claim that they can help applicants pass the Polibatam entrance selection, whether through national admission pathways or independent admission pathways, in exchange for a certain amount of money. Polibatam firmly emphasizes that such actions are false, fraudulent, and may constitute a criminal offense.

Polibatam ensures that the entire new student admission process is carried out transparently, objectively, and in accordance with the applicable regulations. The selection results of prospective students are determined solely based on the official admission system and procedures, not through intermediaries or payments to any particular party.

Polibatam also encourages all prospective new students and their parents or guardians to always verify information through Polibatam’s official communication channels and not to easily trust anyone offering admission assistance in exchange for money.
