Polibatam Successfully Holds Polibatam-Industry Festival (PIN Fest), Strengthens Industry Partner Cooperation
POLIBATAM-At the beginning of 2023, Polibatam strengthens the implementation of cooperation by holding an aspirational event and the involvement of industry partners entitled Polibatam-Industry Festival (PIN Fest) on Thursday, 12 January 2023 at the Polibatam Auditorium.
The agenda of the event started with the presentation of best practices for the Polibatam-industry cooperation scheme, the finalization of the Polibatam and Industry cooperation program for 2023, the exhibition of vocational works by Polibatam students, and awarding of cooperation appreciation tokens to Polibatam industry partners.
Prior to the appreciation session for Polibatam industry partners, the activity began with best practice collaboration schemes with the topic of exposure, i.e. the student and lecturer internship program from PT Infineon, project-based learning (PBL) from PT Sumitomo, and socialization of super tax deduction from the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) Riau Islands.
Polibatam gave appreciation tokens (placards) to all Industrial Partners with a total of 72 Industrial Partners and chose 5 Industries with special appreciation to Industrial Partners. The industrial partner implementing the most PBL learning methods is PT Sumitomo Wiring Systems. The industrial partner with the highest absorption of Student Internships is PT Infineon Technologies Batam, the industrial partner with the most employee absorption is PT Panasonic Industrial Devices Batam, the industrial partner with the best contribution is PT MES Technologies Indonesia, and the best innovation program industry partner is Infinite Learning by PT Kinema Systrans Multimedia.
“My hope is that this activity can enrich and strengthen existing partnership programs and can also provide insight and open opportunities for collaboration to partners who want to increase cooperation.
