Polibatam Ranks Among Top 10 PTN Vokasi with the Highest Number of Applicants in the 2026 SNBT Pathway

BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam has once again recorded a positive achievement in the 2026 National Selection Based on Test (SNBT). Based on the presentation delivered during the 2026 SNBT Results Press Conference by the SNPMB 2026 Committee in Jakarta on May 25, 2026, Polibatam was listed among the Top 10 PTN Vokasi with the highest number of applicants in the 2026 SNBT pathway.

According to the data, Polibatam ranked 10th among PTN Vokasi with a total of 10,399 applicants. This achievement places Polibatam alongside several leading state polytechnics in Indonesia that continue to attract strong interest from prospective students through the SNBT pathway.

Polibatam’s inclusion in the Top 10 PTN Vokasi with the highest number of applicants reflects the growing public trust in vocational higher education. It also shows that Polibatam’s study programs, learning facilities, Project Based Learning (PBL) model, and close collaboration with industry are gaining increasing attention from prospective students across various regions.

Nationally, the implementation of SNBT 2026 showed strong interest among prospective students in continuing their education at public higher education institutions. In the 2026 SNBT pathway, the total national capacity reached 286,864 seats, with 871,496 first-choice applicants. Of that number, 256,369 participants were declared accepted through the 2026 SNBT pathway.

This achievement serves as an important momentum for Polibatam to continue strengthening the quality of new student admission services, developing study programs, and promoting vocational education that is relevant to industry needs.
