Polibatam Provides Bore Well Assistance for Residents of Jurong Village, North Aceh

ACEH – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) has distributed humanitarian assistance to communities affected by flooding in Jurong Village, North Aceh. The assistance was realized through the construction of a bore well facility to support the fulfillment of clean water needs for residents during the post-disaster recovery period.

This assistance reflects Polibatam’s concern for communities that were impacted by flooding several months ago. In the aftermath of the disaster, access to clean water has become one of the essential needs that must be restored, particularly to support residents’ daily activities and the recovery of the village environment.

In its implementation, Polibatam collaborated with Universitas Malikussaleh to support the coordination process and realization of the assistance in the field. This collaboration represents a synergy between higher education institutions in delivering real contributions to communities in need.

Previously, Polibatam had also opened a donation campaign as an invitation to the academic community and the public to jointly support residents affected by the disaster in Aceh. The support collected became part of a spirit of mutual cooperation in easing the burden of the community and supporting the post-disaster recovery process.

Through this bore well assistance, Polibatam hopes that the residents of Jurong Village will have access to cleaner, more proper, sustainable, and long-term water sources. This assistance is also part of Polibatam’s commitment to continue being present not only as a vocational higher education institution, but also as a caring, responsive, and impactful campus for the community.

Polibatam extends its appreciation to all parties who have participated in and supported the donation campaign as well as the realization of this assistance. May this collaboration and spirit of care become a small step that brings great benefits to the residents of Jurong Village, North Aceh.

Salam Polibatam!
