Polibatam Proves Its Excellence at the Indonesian Polytechnic English Championship III

SURABAYA – Another proud achievement has been made by students of Politeknik Negeri Batam. The Polibatam delegation successfully earned several awards at the Indonesian Polytechnic English Championship (IPEC) III, which was held at Politeknik Pelayaran Surabaya. This event is one of the prestigious competitions for polytechnic students across Indonesia to showcase their best English skills.

IPEC III serves as a platform for vocational students to develop their abilities in professional communication, public speaking, business, technology, and digital creativity. Through this competition, participants are not only required to demonstrate strong English proficiency, but also critical thinking, confidence, and the ability to deliver ideas effectively.

With great enthusiasm, thorough preparation, and strong dedication, the Polibatam delegation successfully brought home several awards. The achievements were earned by Elvira Chandra as 3rd Master – Interview, Deva Setiawan as 1st Proficient – Speech, Hanna Priskilla Br Sitorus as 1st Competent – Biz-Tech, as well as Bobby Karunia Alam and Muhammad Jufry Ramadhan as 3rd Competent – Videography.

This achievement proves that Polibatam students do not only excel in vocational skills, but are also able to compete in communication, creativity, and English proficiency at the national level. It also reflects Polibatam’s commitment to supporting students in developing their potential through various academic and non-academic competitions.
