Polibatam held ISO 9001:2015 Internal Audit and Internal Quality Service Standards: Efforts to Maintain Service Quality

POLIBATAM-Since 2006, Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) has used ISO 9001:2015 for the Procedures Standardization in maintaining quality. At the beginning of 2023, Polibatam conducted an Internal Audit where auditors from Internal Polibatam from Lecturers and Educators who already had certification became audits.

With 36 Business Process Procedures from 15 Polibatam Work Units, the Audit implementation ran smoothly with several procedure deficiencies and will be evaluated in the future starting from the end of May. Apart from Business Processes, Internal Quality Service Standards/Standar Mutu Pelayanan Internal (SPMI) unit is also audited by checking and evaluating existing service processes in each Unit.

June 5, 2023, is the Closing of the Internal audit by announcing the audit results reports from each unit that will be re-evaluated. Deputy Director II, Bambang Hendrawan, said “Of course, this 2-times-a-year routine agenda should continue to be improved so that in the future, the external audit will be the same.”

“Alhamdulillah, there has been an increase with reduced minor findings in the units. Come on! let’s increase the evaluation of our business and services procedures to lead to a quality Polibatam and be able to support a Developed and Prosperous Indonesia.” Said Ahmad Riyad Firdaus, Deputy Director I of Polibatam.

Hopefully, with the ISO and SPMI Internal Audit, the quality of service at the Polibatam campus will be maintained.
