POLIBATAM-Batam State Polytechnic Campus received a benchmarking or mock study visit from the Center for Development of Vocational Education Quality Assurance/Balai Besar Pengembangan Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Vokasi (BBPPMPV) in the field of building and electricity on Friday, May 26, 2023, at meeting room 301 of the main building of the Polibatam campus.
The mock study agenda at the Polibatam campus includes things related to Internal bureaucratic reform, service innovation, and security services in the framework of preparation for a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic/Wilayah Birokrasi Bersih dan Melayania (WBBM) area.
“Welcome to the Polibatam campus, which currently has the status of a Corruption-Free Area/Wilayah Bebas Korupsi (WBK) since 2022 and is in the process of submitting it as a Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Area/Wilayah Birokrasi Bersih dan Melayani (WBBM). To achieve WBBM requires teamwork and enthusiasm from all stakeholders in Polibatam, including staff safety and cleanliness,” explained Sinarti.
Also present at the occasion were the BBPPMPV team consisting of the Chairperson of the Public Relations and Household Working Group Rotua Lamra Evinar Sihaloho, S.K.M., Misrun, S.Pd. as the Advanced Implementing PLP, and several representative personnel from the hostel management and security personnel.
“The purpose of this time’s mock study is to evaluate and improve services both internally and externally as well as bureaucratic reform within the Building and Electricity Sector BBPPMPV by comparing existing services at Polibatam so that it can be a reference for improving the quality of our services,” said Rotua.
Hopefully, with this activity, the collaboration between the two institutions will improve the development of vocational education in Indonesia.
