Carrying the Red and White and Polibatam’s Spirit, Robotics Team Ready to Compete in Malaysia!

BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam continues to strengthen its presence on the international stage by sending its best delegation to participate in the FIRA RoboWorld Cup 2026. This international robotics competition is organized by the Federation International Robot Sport Association and will take place in Kelantan, Malaysia, from 6–12 June 2026.

In this event, the Polibatam delegation will compete in the HuroCup Kid 7 Event category. This category is one of the robotics competition divisions that challenges participants’ abilities in technology development, creativity, strategy, and robot agility in completing various competition scenarios.

The Polibatam delegation consists of Kayla Nadine Hafizsyah, Senta Fito Situmorang, Ibnu Rasydin Alflaura Hamid, Eko Rudiawan Jamzuri, Widia Sari Ritonga, Valdhy Maulana Alzikri, and Muhammad Hazza. Throughout the preparation and competition, the team will be accompanied by their supervisor, Mr. Eko Rudiawan.

Polibatam’s participation in the FIRA RoboWorld Cup 2026 reflects the institution’s strong commitment to supporting the development of students’ interests, talents, and achievements, particularly in robotics and technology. Through this international event, students will not only have the opportunity to test their innovation skills at the global level, but also broaden their perspectives, build networks, and gain valuable experience in an international competition.
