Strengthening Synergy and Unity: Politeknik Negeri Batam Holds 2026 Plenary Meeting and Halalbihalal Gathering

BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) successfully held its Plenary Meeting and Halalbihalal Gathering of the extended Polibatam family in a solemn yet festive atmosphere at the Polibatam Auditorium on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. The event, which began at 2:00 PM WIB, opened with an interactive game session to create a warm and engaging atmosphere, followed by the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Muhammad Kevin Maulana, a finalist of the 2026 National Polytechnic MTQ.

During the event, members of the leadership board—including the Vice Director for Academic Affairs, the Vice Director for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs, and the Director of Polibatam—delivered remarks and strategic directions regarding the institution’s future development. The agenda continued with the presentation of aspirations from each Head of Department, providing a comprehensive overview of the achievements and progress of each study program.

A heartfelt moment took place during the send-off ceremony for prospective Hajj pilgrims from the Polibatam community, namely Mr. Ari Wibowo and his wife, as well as Ms. Hanifah Widiastuti and her husband. All attendees expressed their prayers and best wishes for a safe and smooth pilgrimage for the departing pilgrims.

In between the formal sessions, the organizing committee also included several additional interactive activities to maintain participants’ enthusiasm. The event concluded at 4:00 PM WIB with a group photo session, symbolizing unity and solidarity among all staff members in strengthening bonds and fostering togetherness following the Eid al-Fitr celebration.
