Polibatam Wins Best Vocational Partnership Consortium Award and Best Berdikari Collaboration Program Manager at the Diktisaintek Awards 2025
BATAM — Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) has once again reaffirmed its role as a vocational campus actively building strategic collaboration networks. At the Diktisaintek Awards 2025, Polibatam earned two national achievements: the Best Vocational Education Partnership Ecosystem Consortium Award and the Best Berdikari Collaboration Program Manager Award.
These awards were announced during the award ceremony on December 18, 2025, and were presented to the Director of Polibatam, Bambang Hendrawan. These two accomplishments position Polibatam as an institution recognized for successfully strengthening its vocational collaboration model in alignment with the needs of the business and industrial world (DUDI), local governments, and national educational partners.
The Director of Polibatam expressed his appreciation for these achievements and emphasized that this success is the result of collaboration across all institutional elements involved in vocational partnerships.
“This achievement is the result of collective work and good collaboration. I hope this award will motivate us to further strengthen vocational education implementation and create real impacts for Polibatam,” he stated.
He also added that the quality of vocational education is not only measured by academic achievements but also by the safe and conducive environment provided by the campus for the entire academic community.
“Polibatam must be a campus that provides a sense of safety for all academic members—safe to learn, safe to create, and safe to innovate. This is part of our responsibility as an educational institution,” he emphasized.
The Best Vocational Education Partnership Ecosystem Consortium Award reflects Polibatam’s success in leading multi-party collaborations involving industry, government, associations, and vocational schools to strengthen the curriculum, fieldwork practices, skilled workforce training, and workforce alignment.
Meanwhile, the Best Berdikari Collaboration Program Manager Award highlights Polibatam’s success in managing funding models and collaborative programs that involve the industry, government institutions, and other strategic partners, thus promoting the independence of vocational activities and the downstreaming of campus programs.
These two awards add to Polibatam’s list of accomplishments throughout 2025 and further solidify the campus’s position as an adaptive, innovative vocational institution with a focus on impact. Polibatam aims to strengthen these partnerships as the foundation for expanding vocational diplomacy, enhancing graduate competitiveness, and contributing to regional and national industrial development.
Salam Polibatam.
