Polibatam TPST Product Samples Showcased at Batam MTQ Bazaar 2026, Highlighting Waste-to-Compost Innovation

BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) once again demonstrated its commitment to environmental sustainability by participating in the 2026 Batam City MTQ, held at Engku Putri Square from April 10–16, 2026.

During the event, Polibatam’s Integrated Waste Processing Facility (TPST) was exhibited at the Batam Kota District booth, attracting strong interest from visitors and the public. The TPST serves as a tangible example of the campus’s environmentally driven waste management initiatives.

Through this innovation, Polibatam processes organic waste into valuable compost, which is not only used to support campus greening efforts but also holds economic potential as a marketable product for the wider community.

This participation also functioned as an educational platform, raising public awareness about the importance of proper waste management and demonstrating how organic waste can be transformed into valuable and economically viable products.

Polibatam’s presence at the MTQ event further reinforces its role as a change agent in promoting environmentally friendly lifestyles, while also supporting the local government’s efforts to create a cleaner and more sustainable city.
