POLIBATAM TO HOST ICAESS 2026, AN INTERNATIONAL FORUM ON AI-DRIVEN SOCIO-ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION
BATAM — Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) will host ICAESS 2026 — The 8th International Conference of Applied Economics and Social Sciences on 19–20 November 2026. The international conference will be held in a hybrid format, combining on-site activities in Batam, Indonesia, with online participation.
ICAESS 2026 serves as an international forum for researchers, academics, and practitioners to exchange knowledge, research findings, and ideas across the fields of Economics, Accounting, Management, and Social Sciences. The conference is expected to strengthen academic collaboration and encourage broader discussions on current developments affecting society and the economy.
This year, ICAESS carries the theme “Advancing Human–Machine Synergy: Driving Socio-Economic Transformation through AI.” The theme highlights the growing role of artificial intelligence and human collaboration in shaping socio-economic transformation across various sectors.
Through this conference, participants will have the opportunity to explore how AI can support decision-making, innovation, productivity, and the development of more adaptive economic and social systems.
