Polibatam Invites the Academic Community to Contribute to E-Magazine Development

BATAM — Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) is inviting its academic community and the wider public to take part in the development of the Polibatam E-Magazine by completing a reader preference questionnaire. The initiative is part of a research project conducted by seventh-semester students from the Multimedia Engineering Technology Study Program who are currently undertaking an internship with Polibatam’s Public Relations team.

The research focuses on developing the design of the Polibatam E-Magazine as a digital publication platform for sharing student achievements, institutional activities, and other important accomplishments with the public. Through this development, the e-magazine is expected to become more visually engaging, informative, and aligned with the needs and preferences of its readers.

The questionnaire is designed to gather information on readers’ habits, needs, and preferences, particularly regarding visual appearance, layout, and content presentation in an e-magazine. Feedback from respondents will serve as one of the main references in the design and development process of the Polibatam E-Magazine.

Respondents are encouraged to answer based on their own experiences and preferences. There are no right or wrong answers, as every response will help provide a clearer picture of what readers expect from Polibatam’s digital publication. The results will also be used as supporting research data for the students’ final project.

Members of the academic community, alumni, partners, and the general public are welcome to participate by completing the questionnaire at polibatam.id/kebEMAGS. The participation of readers is expected to contribute to the creation of a more relevant, communicative, and engaging Polibatam E-Magazine for a diverse audience.
