Polibatam Holds the First Quarter 2026 Management Review Meeting (RTM)

BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) held its First Quarter 2026 Management Review Meeting on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Polibatam Campus Auditorium. The meeting served as a strategic evaluation forum to review the progress of work programs and strengthen coordination among units in support of Polibatam’s vision and mission.

The event was officially opened by the Director of Polibatam, Bambang Hendrawan, and attended by the institution’s leadership, including Vice Director I Ahmad Riyad Firdaus, Ph.D., Vice Director II Arniati, Ph.D., and Vice Director III Dr. Muhammad Zaenuddin, along with all heads or representatives of departments, centers, task forces, work units, and working groups within Polibatam.

As part of the meeting agenda, participants received a presentation from the Center for Research and Community Service (P4M) regarding the progress of research and community engagement activities. This was followed by reports from departments, centers, task forces, units, and working groups, covering departmental activities, budget plans, research and community service programs, evaluation of human resource adequacy, external provider performance, the implementation of the Integrity Zone/WBBM, work unit activities, occupational health, safety, and environment (K3L), as well as a report from the Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in Higher Education (PPKPT).

On this occasion, Vice Director I Ahmad Riyad Firdaus, Ph.D. stated that the Management Review Meeting serves not only as a performance evaluation forum but also as a regular opportunity to strengthen ties among leaders of units and departments, as it is routinely held every three months. Through this forum, coordination and communication among units are expected to become even stronger in supporting the effective implementation of work programs across Polibatam.

In his remarks, the Director of Polibatam emphasized the importance of following up on every work program that has not yet been implemented optimally, while encouraging all units to work together in finding the best solutions to improve institutional performance. He also reminded all teams to continue implementing the values of Polibatam Double Action as a spirit of collaboration in achieving institutional targets.

Through the implementation of this Management Review Meeting, Polibatam reaffirms its commitment to improving the quality of organizational governance, strengthening synergy among work units, and ensuring that every strategic program is carried out effectively and sustainably.
