PINFest+ 2026: Polibatam Honors Strategic Partners for Their Support in Strengthening Vocational Education

BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) presented appreciation awards to a number of strategic partners who have contributed to the development of vocational education, enhancement of student competencies, and stronger collaboration among higher education institutions, businesses, industries, government, and the wider community.

The appreciation awards were presented as part of PINFest+ 2026, held on August 31, 2026, at the Auditorium of Politeknik Negeri Batam. The awards were presented directly by the Director of Politeknik Negeri Batam, Ir. Bambang Hendrawan, ST., MSM., CIPMP., CISCP., IPM., to partners who have provided valuable support and contributions to various Polibatam programs.

The awards reflect Polibatam’s appreciation for the strong collaborations that have been established, particularly in supporting scholarship programs, internships, campus hiring, and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Appreciation for Partners Across Various Fields
In the Scholarship category, Polibatam presented appreciation awards to the Batam City Government, Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP), and Bank Indonesia for their support in expanding access to education and providing development opportunities for students.

Meanwhile, in the Internship category, appreciation was given to the Batam Indonesia Free Zone Authority (BP Batam), PT Infineon Technologies Batam, and PT VME Process. Support from industry partners through internship programs plays an important role in providing students with real-world work experience while strengthening the implementation of industry-relevant learning.

To support graduate employment opportunities, Polibatam also presented awards in the Campus Hiring category to PT Bintan Alumina Indonesia, PT GMF AeroAsia Tbk, and BAT (Lion Group). Collaboration through campus hiring serves as one of the initiatives to directly connect Polibatam graduates with workforce needs in the industrial sector.

Furthermore, through the SDGs Action Award category, Polibatam presented appreciation awards to Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) Batam, PT Pasifik Asia Solution, and SMK Kartini Batam for their contributions and collaboration in supporting the implementation of sustainable development initiatives.

Appreciation was also extended to several other partners involved in Polibatam’s collaborative initiatives, including PT IJO Inovasi Indonesia, SMK Negeri 10 Batam, the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), PT Karya Teknik Utama (KTU Shipyard), Universitas Nusa Putra, and SMK Negeri 11 Batam.

The Director of Polibatam expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all partners who have been part of Polibatam’s journey in building a stronger and more relevant vocational education ecosystem.

According to him, collaboration with various stakeholders serves as an important foundation in ensuring that vocational education is able to respond to workforce demands and ongoing industrial developments.

“Collaboration with strategic partners is an important part of strengthening vocational education. We would like to express our gratitude for the support and trust that have been given to Polibatam. We hope that this synergy will continue to grow and provide even greater benefits for students, industry, and society,” said Bambang, Director of Polibatam.

The presentation of appreciation awards during PINFest+ 2026 also served as a moment to strengthen Polibatam’s commitment to building sustainable link and match collaboration. Through increasingly strong partnerships, Polibatam continues to encourage the development of competent, adaptive graduates who are ready to contribute to the industrial sector.

More than just an award ceremony, this appreciation symbolizes the understanding that the success of vocational education cannot be built alone. Synergy among universities, industries, government, educational institutions, and communities is essential to creating an educational ecosystem capable of producing highly skilled and competitive human resources.

PINFest+ 2026 became a platform to celebrate achievements, innovation, and collaboration, while also recognizing the partners who have continued to grow and contribute alongside Polibatam.
