Horizon Polibatam Second Edition Highlights Green Campus and the SDGs
BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) has officially published the second edition of Horizon Polibatam, an electronic magazine featuring information, innovations, achievements, and inspiring stories from across the campus community.
This edition carries the theme “Green Campus and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”, reflecting Polibatam’s commitment to supporting environmental sustainability and contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals.
Through this theme, readers are invited to explore various initiatives undertaken by Polibatam to create a greener, more environmentally friendly, and sustainable campus. A wide range of programs and activities involving the academic community are presented in an engaging, accessible, and informative digital format.
The second edition of Horizon Polibatam features a variety of topics, including campus waste management, compost production through the Integrated Waste Management Facility (TPST), student innovations, applied research, project-based learning, and collaborations between Polibatam and its industry partners.
In addition to highlighting sustainability programs, this edition also presents inspiring stories and perspectives from members of the Polibatam community who have contributed to creating positive change. These stories demonstrate that building a sustainable future can begin with simple and consistent actions within the campus environment.
