Dea Santa Wins The Best Tactical Brilliance Award at IYESM 2026

BATAM – Another proud achievement has been recorded by a student of Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam). Dea Santa Nainggolan, a student of the Robotics Engineering Technology Study Programme, received The Best Tactical Brilliance award at the International Youth Exchange Singapore Malaysia (IYESM) 2026, held from 6 to 10 July 2026.

The award reflects Dea’s ability to think strategically, demonstrate leadership, and actively contribute to an international forum. During the programme, she had the opportunity to represent the Singapore delegation and participate in various conferences and discussion sessions focusing on sustainable development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Together with young participants from various countries, Dea shared her ideas and perspectives on sustainability, youth leadership, and the importance of strengthening regional cooperation within ASEAN. Her participation demonstrated the readiness of Polibatam students to communicate, exchange ideas, and collaborate confidently in an international environment.

This achievement proves that vocational students are not only highly competent in technology and practical skills, but are also capable of thinking critically, demonstrating confidence, and making a meaningful impact at the global level.
