ANIMASIKLUS 2026 Presents Exhibition and Screening of Animation Works by Polibatam Students

BATAM – The Animation Study Program of Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) will once again present ANIMASIKLUS 2026, an exhibition and screening event showcasing animation works created by sixth-semester students. This event serves as an appreciation platform for the best student works produced through the Project-Based Learning (PBL) process.

Carrying the theme “Every Frame Holds a Spell,” ANIMASIKLUS 2026 invites visitors to explore how an animation is developed through a long creative process. Starting from ideas, storytelling, character design, and visual development, each work is transformed into a complete animation that not only entertains but also delivers meaningful messages and values to the public.

As part of the event, visitors can enjoy the Installation Exhibition at the Lobby of the Main Building, Politeknik Negeri Batam. The exhibition will present creative processes, production documentation, and portfolios from six PBL groups of Animation Study Program students.

In addition, ANIMASIKLUS 2026 will feature an Animation Film Screening at the Mini Theater, 3rd Floor of the Technopreneur Building, Politeknik Negeri Batam. A total of 16 animated films created by students will be premiered to the public during this event.

More proudly, several student works showcased in ANIMASIKLUS 2026 have received awards at the national level and have been selected for national film festivals. This achievement proves that animation works by Polibatam students are able to compete and gain wider recognition in the creative and animation film industries.

ANIMASIKLUS 2026 will be held on June 29, 2026, and is open to the public. Polibatam invites the community, students, creative industry players, and animation enthusiasts to attend and experience the magic behind every frame created by Polibatam Animation students. ANIMASIKLUS is not only an exhibition and screening event, but also a celebration of creativity, learning processes, and impactful works.
