Politeknik Negeri Medan Visits Politeknik Negeri Batam

BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam received a visit from Politeknik Negeri Medan on Sunday, June 7, 2026. The visit served as a platform to strengthen institutional communication and foster closer relations between the two vocational higher education institutions, particularly in the field of student affairs and preparations for the Sports and Arts Week (Porseni).

The delegation from Politeknik Negeri Medan was led by Dr. Ahmad Kholil, S.E., M.Si., Vice Director for Student Affairs. He was accompanied by Dr. Muhammad Zuardi, S.E., M.M., as Contingent Manager, and Sudarsono, S.E., M.M., as Contingent Official of Politeknik Negeri Medan.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Muhammad Zaenuddin, S.Si., M.Sc., Vice Director III of Politeknik Negeri Batam, together with the Polibatam Porseni Team. The meeting was held in a warm atmosphere and reflected a strong spirit of collaboration among vocational higher education institutions.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the management of student affairs activities, contingent assistance, and preparations for participating in Porseni. The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange information and experiences in supporting student achievements, both in sports, arts, and other student development activities.

Polibatam welcomed this visit as part of a shared commitment to strengthening synergy among polytechnics in Indonesia. Through this activity, it is hoped that the good relationship between Politeknik Negeri Medan and Politeknik Negeri Batam will continue to grow and bring positive impact to the development of students’ potential and achievements in vocational education.
