Polibatam Encourages Academic Community to Keep Their Belongings and Safe Safe on Campus

BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) encourages all members of the academic community to work together in maintaining comfort, order, and security within the campus environment. This reminder is part of Polibatam’s effort to strengthen a culture of care, awareness, and shared responsibility in safeguarding personal belongings and valuables while carrying out activities on campus.

Students, lecturers, staff, and all campus visitors are encouraged to always pay close attention to their personal belongings, such as bags, laptops, mobile phones, wallets, and other important items. These belongings should not be left unattended in classrooms, offices, the mosque, cafeteria, study areas, or other public spaces.

Before leaving any room or campus area, the academic community is advised to recheck their belongings. Simple actions such as ensuring that no items are left behind, avoiding leaving belongings unattended, and reminding friends or colleagues to do the same are important steps in creating a safer and more orderly campus environment.

Polibatam also continues to support campus security through monitoring facilities, including CCTV installed in several areas. However, personal awareness and mutual care remain essential in preventing loss or unwanted incidents.

Through this reminder, Polibatam hopes that all members of the academic community will continue to strengthen their sense of responsibility, care, and habit of looking out for one another. With the cooperation of all parties, Polibatam can remain a safe, comfortable, orderly, and caring environment for learning and working.

Warm Regards From Polibatam!
