Engineering Professional Oath & 2026 Inaugural Lecture of PSPPI Polibatam

BATAM – Polibatam once again held the Professional Engineer Oath Ceremony for Cohort 7, combined with the Inaugural Lecture for Cohort 8 of the Professional Engineer Study Program (PSPPI). The event, conducted at the Auditorium of Politeknik Negeri Batam, took place solemnly and meaningfully.

This moment marked an important milestone in reaffirming the engineers’ commitment to professional ethics, engineering responsibilities, and tangible contributions to society and sustainable development. PSPPI Polibatam remains committed to producing professional engineers who demonstrate integrity and competence.

The event was attended by prominent leaders from the Indonesian Engineers Association (PII), including PII President Dr. –Ing. Ir. Ilham Akbar Habibie, MBA., IPU; PII Secretary General Dr. Ir. Teguh Haryono, MBA., IPU., ASEAN Eng., ACPE; PII Vice Secretary General Ir. Haudhi Ramdhayuza, ST., IPM., ASEAN Eng; and PII Executive Director Ir. Santhi H. Serad, M.Sc., IPU.

Representatives from PII regional and branch offices were also present, along with the leadership of Politeknik Negeri Batam, further strengthening the synergy between higher education institutions and professional organizations. The presence of international academic Prof. Dr. Martin Pudlik from Bingen University of Applied Sciences was also a distinct honor for Polibatam.

PSPPI Polibatam also recorded a notable achievement with Cohort 7 graduates earning the Professional Engineer Competency Certificate (SKIP).
