PT Tennet Explores Scholarship Collaboration for New Polibatam Students in the 2026 Academic Year

BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) held a strategic meeting with PT Tennet representatives to discuss opportunities for a scholarship program collaboration for new students in the 2026 Academic Year. The meeting took place on Wednesday, 23 November 2025, at Room R301, Main Building of Polibatam, and was conducted from 10:00 AM WIB until completion.

Present at the meeting were representatives from TENET: Audrey (HR), Maurice Blenkers (Project Lead), and Mbak Nors (Project Secretary). The discussion was constructive, involving representatives from Polibatam’s management and technical teams.

During the session, Audrey conveyed TENET’s commitment to supporting vocational education development through the scholarship program.

“A scholarship collaboration with TENET is planned to start with 20 students for the new 2026 academic year,” Audrey stated.

This collaboration is aimed at providing broader access to education for high-achieving students interested in continuing their studies at Polibatam, while also preparing top talent to be directly absorbed by the industry. The collaboration framework will include financial support for studies, internship opportunities, industry mentoring, and potential recruitment for scholarship recipients.

Polibatam welcomed this initiative as part of strengthening the link and match between vocational education and the workforce needs. This meeting marks the initial step towards drafting a formal agreement and establishing the operational mechanism for the scholarship program.

Through this collaboration, Polibatam hopes to expand educational access for the younger generation and produce graduates ready to compete both nationally and globally.
