The International Conference on Applied Economics and Social Sciences (ICAESS) 2023

The International Conference on Applied Economics and Social Sciences (ICAESS) is an annual International Scientific conference in the field of applied economics and social sciences organized by Politeknik Negeri Batam or also known as Polibatam. The purpose of this conference is to showcase the results of applicable research conducted by researchers from various countries. It has become a big issue among Indonesian researchers about the gap in research output between the academic and industrial case.  

In the current year, we persist in our endeavor to propagate the outcomes of research by orchestrating the 5th International Conference on Advances in Economics, Social Sciences, and Sustainability (ICAESS) on the 7th and 8th of November 2022. This event will be hosted at Politeknik Negeri Batam, located in Batam, Indonesia. The overarching theme of the conference is “Harmonizing Green Economy, Sustainable Development, and Digitalization for a Thriving Future“. Encompassing a wide array of subjects within the domains of Economics, Accounting, Management, and Social Sciences. We anticipate receiving your scholarly contributions and active engagement in paper submissions. It is our aspiration that your attendance at the conference will afford you the chance to engage with both academic and industry professionals, fostering the exchange of ideas pertaining to cutting-edge technologies.

Accepted papers will be submitted to European Alliance for Innovation (EAI) for their consideration to be published, subject to meeting the scope and quality requirements, and indexed to leading database such as Scopus, dblp, ProQuest, DOAJ and Google Scholar.
