Polibatam Supports Batam Singapore Hackathon 2026 and RISING Batam to Strengthen Regional Innovation Ecosystem
BATAM – Batam is set to host two major regional technology events that will bring together innovators, industry leaders, policymakers, investors, and startup founders from across the SIJORI and ASEAN regions. The two events, Batam Singapore Hackathon 2026 and RISING Batam – Tech Leadership Summit 2026, will take place on August 15 and 16, 2026, respectively.
The Batam Singapore Hackathon 2026, scheduled for August 15, will bring together leading technology builders from the SIJORI (Singapore–Johor–Riau Islands) region. During the 16-hour competition, participants will be challenged to collaborate, develop ideas, and propose impactful solutions to real-world challenges. The hackathon will also serve as a precursor to the RISING Batam – Tech Leadership Summit 2026.
Meanwhile, RISING Batam – Tech Leadership Summit 2026 will be held on August 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The summit will serve as a strategic platform for CXOs, policymakers, technology executives, investors, sustainability leaders, and startup founders from Singapore, Indonesia, and the wider ASEAN region to exchange insights, expand professional networks, and explore opportunities for regional collaboration.

Both registrations are mandatory. Participants must obtain their QR code after registration and present it together with a valid Polibatam ID card at the registration counter on Summit Day.
2. BATAMKHUSUS – 50% Discount for Batam Residents
Batam residents who wish to attend RISING Batam – Tech Leadership Summit 2026 can use the code “BATAMKHUSUS” to receive a 50% discount on the registration fee.
3. BATAMSTUDENT – 70% Discount for Students in Batam
Students from educational institutions across Batam can use the code “BATAMSTUDENT” to receive a 70% discount, reducing the registration fee to IDR 299,000.
The offer is limited to the first 25 students on a first-come, first-served basis and is valid until August 12, 2026. Participants are required to present a valid student ID card at the registration counter on Summit Day.
