Polibatam Hosts Lenovo Edu Customer Event Batam; Transform Learning, Inspire the Future
BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) proudly hosted the Lenovo Edu Customer Event Batam, themed “Transform Learning, Inspire the Future.” The event served as a collaborative platform between the education sector and the technology industry to discuss technology-driven learning transformation and the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI). It was held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Polibatam Campus Auditorium.
The event opened with a welcoming remark by Henricus Limpat Argo Hastrianto, Enterprise Account Management of Lenovo Indonesia, who emphasized the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and the technology industry in responding to the rapidly evolving digital era.
A welcoming speech was also delivered by the Director of Politeknik Negeri Batam, Bambang Hendrawan, who expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to host the event at Polibatam. On this occasion, he highlighted that synergy between campuses and the technology industry is essential in supporting the development of vocational education that is adaptive to the needs of future industries.
The event featured several speakers from the technology industry who shared valuable insights and experiences related to digital transformation and the utilization of technology in education. The speakers included Linda Hoega, Founder of PT Bias Surya Teknologi; Imam Munajat, Client Solution Architect (CSA) of Lenovo Indonesia; and Bobby Wijaya, Senior Solution Engineer of Lenovo Indonesia.
The speakers presented various recent technological developments, particularly in the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), technology solutions for education, and Lenovo product innovations designed to support learning processes and digital collaboration within the campus environment.
In addition to the presentation sessions, the event was followed by a discussion and question-and-answer session, allowing participants to engage directly with the speakers. The participants’ enthusiasm was reflected in the wide range of questions raised regarding the use of technology in learning and the implementation of digital solutions in educational environments.
The event concluded with a visit to the Lenovo product exhibition, where participants had the opportunity to explore firsthand a variety of the latest devices and technology solutions designed to support a modern learning ecosystem.
Through this event, it is hoped that the Polibatam academic community will gain new insights into technological advancements, particularly in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital transformation, while also understanding various technology solutions that can enhance the learning process in the digital era.
This event also marked part of Polibatam’s continuous efforts to strengthen collaboration with industry and to foster an innovative, adaptive, and future-relevant vocational education ecosystem.
