Polibatam Opens Recruitment for PKM 2027 Team Leaders, Encouraging Students to Turn Creative Ideas into Impact

BATAM — Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) has opened Recruitment for 2027 Student Creativity Program (PKM) Team Leaders for students who are interested in developing creative and innovative ideas into structured proposals with the potential to create impact and achieve recognition.

The opportunity is open to active students who are at least in their third semester and demonstrate interest, creativity, and commitment to participating in the Student Creativity Program. Applicants are also expected to have good teamwork, communication, and coordination skills, as well as an idea that can be developed into a PKM proposal in their chosen field.

Each student may register as a Team Leader for only one PKM team. Applicants must also be willing to participate in all stages of mentoring, proposal preparation, selection, and PKM implementation, while taking responsibility for coordinating team members and managing the proposal development process.

As a PKM Team Leader, students will be responsible for coordinating team members in developing PKM ideas, organizing proposal preparation in accordance with applicable guidelines, and working closely with academic supervisors and the student affairs unit. Team Leaders will also ensure the completeness of administrative documents, coordinate project implementation if the proposal is selected, and report progress to the academic supervisor according to the established schedule.

To support the preparation for PKM 2027, Polibatam has also appointed several coordinators: Ir. Kamarudin, S.T., M.T., IPM as Chair; Riri Zelmiyanti, S.E., M.Sc., Ak., CA as PKM Coordinator for the Department of Business Management; Hasnira, S.ST., M.Tr.T. as PKM Coordinator for the Department of Electrical Engineering; Muchamad Fajri Amirul Nasrullah, S.ST., M.Sc. as PKM Coordinator for the Department of Informatics Engineering; Siti Adriani, S.Si., MAdvMatEng as PKM Coordinator for the Department of Mechanical Engineering; and Eka Mutia Lubis, S.Pd., M.Pd. as PKM AI and GFT Coordinator.
