AI Enters the Classroom! Polibatam Invites Teachers to Master AI for the Future of Learning

BATAM — Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) will hold an AI Training for Teachers on 17–18 October 2026, from 08:00 a.m. to 04:30 p.m. WIB, at Politeknik Negeri Batam. The training is designed as a learning platform for teachers and education professionals to better understand and utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) creatively, effectively, and responsibly in the teaching and learning process.

Participants will receive practical materials relevant to today’s educational needs, including Generative AI, prompt engineering, learning material development, assessment, instructional media creation, and the development of an AI Teaching Kit. The program is designed not only to introduce AI technologies, but also to help participants apply them in lesson planning, teaching material preparation, evaluation, and the development of more engaging and effective learning media.

Through this training, teachers are expected to gain practical skills that can be directly applied in classroom activities. The use of AI is not merely about keeping up with technological developments, but also about creating opportunities for educators to deliver learning experiences that are more adaptive, creative, and relevant to students’ needs.
