Polibatam Officially Launches Bachelor of Applied Science in Safety Engineering Technology
BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) has expanded its range of vocational education programmes with the establishment of the Bachelor of Applied Science in Safety Engineering Technology. The new study programme has officially received approval under the Decree of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 806/B/O/2026.
The establishment of the Safety Engineering Technology Study Programme represents a strategic step by Polibatam in responding to industry demand for professionals with expertise in occupational safety, risk management, accident prevention, and the application of technology to create safer, more productive, and sustainable working environments.
