Polibatam Exhibition Booth Receives Appreciation from the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Batam
BATAM – The exhibition booth of Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) enlivened the Socialization of the Batam City Government Priority Scholarship Program for outstanding, underprivileged, and hinterland students, held at Crown Vista Hotel on Monday, May 18, 2026.
During the event, the Polibatam booth received direct attention and appreciation from the Mayor of Batam, Amsakar Achmad, and the Deputy Mayor of Batam, Li Claudia Chandra, who visited the booth and observed the innovations displayed by Polibatam.
On this occasion, Polibatam presented various information related to New Student Admission (PMB), vocational education programs, and several outstanding products created by the academic community, reflecting innovation and technological development within the campus environment.
At the exhibition, Polibatam showcased a Humanoid Soccer Robot developed by students, which has achieved international recognition. The presence of the robot became one of the main attractions at the Polibatam booth and demonstrated the capability of Polibatam’s vocational students in the fields of robotics and intelligent technology.
In addition, Polibatam also presented various animated film works produced by students, reflecting their creativity, multimedia skills, and mastery of digital technology. These works serve as evidence that Polibatam students excel not only in technology and engineering, but also in the digital creative industry.
The Polibatam booth became one of the highlights of the event, as it showcased technological innovation and creative works that are highly relevant to the development of the digital industry and creative economy in Batam. The booth also served as an educational and promotional platform for senior high school and vocational high school students to learn more about Polibatam’s study programs, facilities, and practice-based learning system.
The appreciation from the Batam City Government reflects strong support for Polibatam’s contribution in producing excellent human resources and supporting the development of Batam’s technology ecosystem and digital transformation, particularly in relation to the growth of Nongsa Digital Park and future industries.
Through this activity, Polibatam continues to strengthen its commitment as a technology-based vocational campus that actively supports the improvement of education quality and the development of Batam’s young generation, enabling them to compete at national and international levels.
