Polibatam Sends Student Delegation to Compete in National and International Competitions

BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) once again sent off its outstanding students to participate in various prestigious national and international competitions. The send-off ceremony reflects the institution’s strong support for student achievement, talent development, and competitiveness in various fields.

The ceremony was led by the Vice Director for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni. On this occasion, Polibatam expressed its appreciation to the student delegates who will proudly represent the campus in academic, language, business, and innovation competitions.

The competitions to be joined by Polibatam students include the Mandalika Essay Competition, which will be held at the University of Mataram, Lombok, from May 15 to 19, 2026, with two participants and Ir. Kamarudin, S.T., M.T., IPM as the person in charge. In addition, Polibatam students will also take part in the Riau Islands Language Ambassador Selection in Tanjungpinang from May 18 to 22, 2026, with four participants and Rusyda Nazhirah Yunus, S.S., M.Si. as the person in charge.

At the international level, Polibatam will send a delegation to the International Business Plan Competition, which will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from May 16 to 19, 2026. The competition will be attended by eight Polibatam students, with Sarah Ulfah Al Amany serving as the person in charge. This participation is a concrete manifestation of Polibatam’s commitment to encouraging students to compete in the global arena.

Through participation in these competitions, Polibatam continues to strengthen its commitment to supporting the development of students’ competencies, creativity, communication skills, innovation, and leadership. Polibatam hopes that all delegates will achieve their best results, gain valuable experience, and bring pride to the campus at both national and international levels.
