BP Batam Invites Prospective Singapore Investor to Visit Polibatam’s Excellent Facilities

BATAM – Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) welcomed a visit from BP Batam and a prospective investor from Aerae Holdings Limited, Singapore, on Monday, May 4, 2026. The visit was part of an effort to introduce Polibatam’s vocational education potential in supporting the development of human resources aligned with the needs of industries in Batam.

The delegation, accompanied by representatives from BP Batam’s Investment Promotion division, was warmly received by Polibatam Vice Director I, Ahmad Riyad Firdaus. During the meeting, Polibatam presented its institutional strengths, particularly in practice-based learning, Project Based Learning (PBL), and industry collaboration.

On this occasion, the guests were invited to tour several of Polibatam’s excellent facilities, including the Teaching Factory, Robotics Room, Technopreneur Centre Building, and Polibatam Aircraft Hangar. The delegation also had the opportunity to observe practical learning and technology development activities carried out by students and lecturers through various supporting facilities, such as robotics equipment, CNC cutting machines, prototype machines, and aviation learning facilities.

This visit served as an important momentum to strengthen relations between vocational higher education institutions, government agencies, and prospective international investors. Through synergy with BP Batam and Aerae Holdings Limited, Polibatam hopes to open wider opportunities for collaboration, especially in strengthening graduate competencies, developing industrial talent, and supporting Batam’s investment and industrial ecosystem.
