Polibatam Sends Two Student Robotics Teams to RoboRoarZ Singapore 2026
BATAM — Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam) once again demonstrates its international presence by sending two student robotics teams to compete in RoboRoarZ Singapore 2026. This prestigious international robotics competition is organized by the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) in collaboration with Wefaa Robotics. The event will be held in person on January 22–23, 2026, in Singapore.
The Barelang Robotics and BARELANG 1 teams, comprising 10 students and accompanied by two faculty advisors, Eko Rudiwan Jamzuri and Naurah Nazhifah, will represent Polibatam at this competition. The teams include members with diverse backgrounds, including mechanics, electrical engineering, and robotics programming, reflecting a cross-disciplinary collaboration in the development of robotics systems.
Before their departure, Polibatam held a team send-off ceremony at Room 301 of the Polibatam Main Building, led by Muhammad Zaenuddin, Vice Director for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni. During the event, he expressed full support and best wishes for the students competing at the international level.
“We wish our students the best of luck as they compete with confidence, uphold sportsmanship, and return with valuable experiences and achievements,” said Muhammad Zaenuddin.
