BEM Polibatam and PLN Batam Collaborate to Implement the Impactful Dikti Saintek Program on Pulau Seraya

BEM Politeknik Negeri Batam (Polibatam), in collaboration with PLN Batam, has joined forces in the Impactful Dikti Saintek and Sustainable CSR programs through the BEM’s Path to Impact initiative on Pulau Seraya, Kelurahan Batu Legong. In support of the PPK Ormawa 2025 program, plastic waste is being converted into paving blocks utilizing solar energy. In addition, three Solar-Powered Street Lights (PJTS) have been installed, providing illumination to 150 households in the coastal area.

This collaboration not only promotes a cleaner environment but also fosters sustainable energy, while enhancing the safety and well-being of the coastal community. The synergy serves as a tangible step toward driving lasting change for Pulau Seraya and its surrounding areas.
